I crafted the shape of the Chinese lantern plant from scratch using thin thread and wire.
By hand-knitting each leaf and berry and adding subtle variations in color through hand-dyeing, I’ve captured the natural, imperfect beauty of the plant.
I’ve transformed the plant’s serene appearance—including the delicate colors and shadows that emerge when light passes through it—into a corsage.
