Living Life

No matter how small, no matter if they can’t speak, and even if they’re in the ocean—when the energy of each and every life comes together, it becomes a tremendous force. Every single living being on this Earth has great significance and is precious.
This pen-and-ink drawing was created by the artist—who was going through a difficult time due to a lack of self-esteem—as she struggled to find a reason to live. Even when reality is harsh, she can still shine brightly within her art. I created this piece with the hope that the sparkling lights scattered throughout the drawing would become a source of light for those who view it.
