The Universe as Seen by Children

I remember freely drawing pictures with crayons and colored pencils when I was little. Drawing on those memories, I created this piece while imagining a child trying to draw the universe, even as their hands and the surface got messy. This design might seem a bit removed from the “universum” theme. However, I believe there is a connection between a child’s imagination and the universe in that both hold infinite possibilities. At times, both reveal things that far exceed our everyday imagination and captivate us. With that in mind, I aimed to create a design that, while seemingly naive like a child’s drawing, still sparks excitement when held in your hands—one that makes you curious about what’s inside the notebook even after it’s been well-used and stained.
