This dragon is called “Laughing Dragon.”
I created this piece
while feeling as though
my heart was leaping with joy at the vivid colors of the autumn leaves,
and the dragon was dancing and soaring higher and higher.
“Make the black darker here,” “Make it lighter there”—
I’m grateful that I was able to enjoy painting it
while following these detailed instructions.
