Angels by Our Side

An angel dancing in the sky and a Clione drifting in the sea.
By having a Clione—also known as the “angel of the sea”—and a real angel gently stand side by side, I sought to express how these different worlds are connected.
I likened the red organ at the center of the Clione to a heart and depicted the angel and the Clione each cradling a heart.
This work captures a quiet, warm moment in which their hearts seem to overlap.
