“A young girl and a large dog who’ve been together since birth and grew up like siblings.
Let’s grow up together and make lots of memories from now on.”

I drew this while daydreaming about that.

The dog is a little older and very caring—
he’s always there, quietly watching over her.
As time goes by, their roles might even switch…

What kind of story do you imagine from this drawing?
　
　
I usually draw with a black millimeter pen,
but to express “gentleness,” I used sepia tones for the first time.
Since each brand has a different sepia tone, I used several varieties.
This is the first time I’ve drawn a human in a pen-and-ink illustration.
