Things we cannot see—
the light, waves, and darkness of the universe—
sounds we cannot hear.
But to the cats,
they can be seen, heard, and felt.
When the time comes,
they’ll ride a shooting star
all the way to the galaxy
where the blue sun shines.
I drew this image
I drew this
inspired by Van Gogh’s *Starry Night*
and a picture book by Klee.
The materials used are ink, acrylic paint, and colored pencils.
