Born and raised in Nagano Prefecture, I’ve been familiar with
Nagano’s specialty apples since I was a child.
There are so many varieties, and I always think they’re such wonderful fruits—
delicious whether eaten as is or used in desserts or jam.
I also love using their colors and shapes as motifs in my artwork.
For this illustration, I varied my artistic style to create three different apple designs.
The one on the right was inspired by real apples to convey their luster and texture.
The one in the middle was created with the gentle atmosphere of a watercolor painting.
The one on the left features a pop design that would work well for icons or flyers.
I aim to resonate with the viewer’s emotions and convey my intended message as clearly as possible.
This piece combines my skills in free-form illustration with my ability to create diverse artistic styles.
