"monky"

Using a chimpanzee as my motif, I attempted to express the emotions shared by humans and animals. The figure clutching its head is humorous, yet it reflects those moments of “confusion” and “contemplation” that everyone experiences in daily life. As I drew, I hoped that viewers would feel something through this expression.

I strove to delicately express the natural emotions of animals through the details of the fur and facial expressions, but I would be delighted if each viewer were to freely interpret the work in their own way. I hope that through this piece, you will sense the emotional connection between animals and humans.
