Nagokago
Inspired by the scenery of Sakurajima—a symbol of Kagoshima—and Kinko Bay, which seems to embrace it, this bag was carefully woven with love, capturing the natural beauty and memories of my hometown. It features a distinctive pattern depicting waves gently lapping the shore, and combines soft green-gray with natural tones to create a design that’s versatile enough to use year-round. This compact, hand-woven basket bag is crafted using a technique called “tobashi-ami.” It’s sized to hold a smartphone, wallet, and a 350ml plastic bottle. Its rounded shape complements both Western and traditional Japanese attire, making it ideal for outings. Lightweight and gentle on the hands, this mini basket is a subtle yet practical addition to your daily life.
