I drew a black cat while hand-copying the opening passage of *I Am a Cat*, one of Natsume Sōseki’s most famous novels.
This work was created using a unique text-and-art technique that I developed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
*This piece won the Grand Prize at the 2025 “National Design Championship.”*
