Though the time you live in and the time I live in are different, right now—at this very moment—we’re side by side in the same moment.
A quiet, faintly warm moment shared by you and me.
This work is connected to “You and Me II,” which depicts the ghost, just as she was at that moment, and the grown-up cat holding hands in the same place.
This piece was exhibited in 2024 at my solo exhibition in Osaka, titled “Time Passes Moment by Moment,” which explored the theme of time.
