Spanish Tile, Majorca Technique (Pointillism)
A white glaze is applied to the unglazed tile, and colored designs are painted on top of it.
Just hearing the Japanese word “ao” (blue) brings to mind countless shades of color. We have expressed this delicate imagery by applying multiple layers of glazed dots to create subtle gradations of tone.
When displayed on a wall, it fills the space with a refreshing beauty.
The vivid colors of the tiles will last semi-permanently.
