A light of Gratitude

I painted a tunnel of light in a rose garden.
One of the meanings associated with pink roses is “gratitude.”
Hoping that this warm sentiment will spread like light,
I’ve infused each and every color with the words “thank you.”

I’ve poured into this piece the sensation of passing through particles of light—
a moment when the heart gently softens
and is filled with tenderness.

May the room where this artwork is displayed
become a space enveloped in gentle gratitude.
May its warm light reach the hearts of all who see it.
