TANCHO / Lotus and the Sun

This artwork features the red-crowned crane as its central motif, with the sun and lotus depicted symbolically.
By combining delicate analog line work with digital adjustments, I have sought to express the vitality and mystique found within stillness. Drawing inspiration from Japanese painting and decorative arts, I create these works with a focus on the beauty of negative space and the texture of handcrafted work.

Serving also as the brand logo, this design uses symbolic motifs to visually convey “prayer,” “regeneration,” and “hope.”

Moving forward, we plan to create and release postcards, stickers, paper goods, and other items that embody this artistic vision.
