Stationery Rake

I used stationery to depict a kumade, a traditional good-luck charm. In the center, I wrote “May Customers Flock In.” On the sticky notes, I included “Prayers for Success” and “Academic Achievement” for those tackling their studies, and “Out-of-the-Box Thinking” and “Flexible Thinking” for creators who are crafting something or generating ideas.
For me personally, stationery has become indispensable when sketching rough drafts or organizing my ideas.
I selected stationery items that came to mind—such as the stationery I used as a child, the giant triangular rulers I saw in classrooms, and the pencils, mechanical pencils, and sticky notes I still use today.
I created this piece to wish for the success of the TAG Stationery Festival.
