I depicted a gentle scene of a shoebill stork, surrounded by a flower field, offering a single flower.
While the hornbill is typically associated with a piercing gaze, I aimed for a warm and gentle atmosphere in this piece.
In this work, I made use of the color variations created by the blurring and layering of watercolor pens to express a sense of transparency, as if filled with light, and a soft, airy atmosphere.
