I envisioned a bright spring scene at a ranch.
Except for the foal on the left, I used only the Kuretake Gansai Tanbi 18-Color Set for the entire painting. For the foal on the right, I applied Gansai Tanbi Nuance Color No. 11, “Torinoko-iro,” and then layered No. 46—the same color as the horse in the background—on top to create a color contrast. I think it turned out very bright.
