Signet Ring Series

This is a series of signet rings
crafted from sterling silver (SV999) using the forging technique.

Signet rings were traditionally
used to bear seals or coats of arms, but in this series, we have chosen not to add any engravings or decorations, focusing instead on showcasing the form itself.

Using the technique of forging—shaping the metal by hammering it—each piece is finished by hand, one at a time.

We preserve the subtle variations in surface texture, forging marks, and reflections that arise during the production process as unique characteristics of each piece.

Furthermore, while based on the same basic form,
we adjust the thickness, surface balance, and shape
to create rings that each possess a distinct presence.

Sterling silver is a material whose appearance evolves over time, including the development of scratches and tarnish.
We consider the process of change that occurs as you wear the ring to be an integral part of this series.
