I completed this Japanese-style artwork using acrylic paints during a two-day live painting event.
The "A-Un" statues represent the cycle of life and death—the beginning and the end. I sought to capture that energy through my live painting.
I used crayons in certain areas and drew bold outlines to give the piece a pop art feel.
