I’ve captured the winter air and its sparkle in this small wreath.
I first dyed the washi paper (Kochi hemp paper) using “suminagashi,” a traditional Japanese painting technique, to create a sense of a mysterious space.
I wanted to bring a little bit of winter into your everyday life, so I titled this piece “Gift.”
The shimmering colors change depending on the viewing angle, so I hope you’ll take a closer look.
