This bag was designed with foreign school bags in mind.
It’s made from Japanese waxed canvas, so even though it’s cotton, it’s sturdy and has a unique waxed texture and scent. As you use it, it develops a distinctive character, much like denim or military gear.
It’s surprisingly easy to use—you can find what you’re looking for right away—and this versatile bag can be used horizontally or converted into either a backpack or a shoulder bag.
The triangular pocket on the back is a standout feature, as you can reach it even while wearing the bag.
By the way, since the bag tends to sag with use, we’ve included a bottom board for support.
