Cat R-001

Works from the “Rittai” series,
which depict animals in a stylish and three-dimensional way.

The animals themselves were drawn flat on the surface using a millimeter pen,
while the sunglasses were created using paper, foil, and film
to give them a three-dimensional appearance.

By using aurora film,
the expressions and emotions conveyed through the eyes are preserved
without being obscured,
allowing viewers to enjoy how the artwork changes depending on their viewing angle and the lighting conditions.

Mixed media (millimeter pen / Kent paper / film / foil)
220 × 220 × 40 mm

Using primarily a 0.05mm millimeter pen,
I create animal art in my own unique style
that blends mandalas, Zentangles, and botanical art.
