逸遊（Escape）

I love drawing animals, so I often visit zoos or spend time with stray cats and dogs I meet while out walking.
When I met the model for this painting, I found her little bottom and the way she was sprawled out so adorable that I decided to paint her against a background of cute washi paper.
Whether it’s cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, flowers, or abstract art—regardless of genre—I create works that fit into modern life by utilizing Japanese painting techniques, art materials, and the unique qualities of washi paper. My goal is to create art that soothes the soul and makes you smile.
