On February 20, 2024, I gave a live painting performance at Gallery Max on Broadway in New York. The audience members were the artists, and I created a work that encompassed everything—the venue’s lighting, the sound of footsteps, the sound of breathing, the coolness of the paint, the warmth of my body, and everyone’s smiles.
