zucoasobi

Formed in June 2019, the group’s name is a portmanteau of “ZUCO” (art and craft = making things) and “ASOBI” (play = leisure). “Laughter enriches the human heart. Precisely because the world can be a difficult place to live in, we aim to create things that bring people together through laughter.” This simple sentiment serves as the foundation of our activities. What is “Neko Ossan”… On the outside, he’s a two-legged, overweight cat—but on the inside, he’s an old man! He’s lazy and spoiled, has many hobbies, and gets bored easily. He’s a bit of a handful, but his goofy face makes him impossible to hate—a character brimming with personality. ZUCO ASOBI is a creative unit that produces T-shirts, tote bags, stationery, and other items featuring our mascot, “Neko Ossan,” as well as a variety of original illustrations.
