We create simple, sophisticated, and elegant jewelry by combining pure titanium with natural gemstones and genuine pearls. Pure titanium solved my problem—I used to have allergic reactions to everything from 18-karat gold and platinum to silver, and even jewelry labeled as “surgical stainless steel.” I’ll never forget the strange feeling I had the first time I wore pure titanium and experienced no allergic reaction. I began creating jewelry because I wanted others with the same concerns to experience this joy of being able to enjoy accessories without stress. The name “DAPTA” comes from the Korean word 답다 (dapta). It means “true to one’s nature” or “fitting for one’s character.” Don’t give up. Even with a metal allergy, you can still enjoy fashion. “Dress in a way that’s true to you, and live a life that’s true to yourself.” I hope you’ll have a wonderful encounter with the jewelry I create, infused with this sentiment.
