In 2016, I discovered the craft of woodturning, and through a fortunate turn of events, I joined a company specializing in woodturning in 2017. I devoted myself to woodturning after work and on my days off to hone my skills. After working there for five full years, I struck out on my own in 2022. I established my studio in Kyoto. In 2018, I was selected for the Osaka Crafts Exhibition. In 2019, I received the Encouragement Award at the Osaka Crafts Exhibition. In 2022, I was selected for the Takaoka Craft Competition. In 2024, I received the Excellence Award at the Itami International Craft Exhibition (for sake vessels).

BIOGRAPHY
