I love cats, so I draw illustrations that are cute and soothing, as well as realistic paintings. Lately, I’ve been making an effort to draw illustrations featuring my original character, “Punch-kun” (a cat), set against nostalgic-looking backdrops, and I hope to gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Japan as I draw.
