Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Shima Takeda, and I’ve been creating woodblock prints for 20 years. My work focuses on themes such as the breathtaking scenery of a small village in Hokkaido that is a member of the “Association of Japan’s Most Beautiful Villages.” I am grateful for the wide range of opportunities I’ve had, including teaching woodblock print classes and working in design. In addition to having my postcards featured in the museum shop at the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, my works are part of the permanent collection at the Sapporo Art Park Museum. I am a member of the Japan Artists’ Federation and reside in Sapporo.

BIOGRAPHY
