Focusing primarily on acrylic painting, she continues to create works that seem to capture the sounds of nature, the gaze of animals, and that indescribable “something.” Intrigued by the true nature of life that lies beneath the layers of “humanity” imposed by civilization and culture, she explores “essence” and “resonance” through her work. Rather than simply categorizing emotional fluctuations—such as joy, sorrow, love, and anger—she paints them in a way that embraces their coexistence. Observing the ways animals live and the reactions of children, she realizes that there is something we can sense in one another even before we “try to understand,” and she infuses this insight into her work. Her themes include “dialogue without words” and “simply being there, with all its contradictions.” She believes in those moments when the invisible suddenly comes to life within a painting.
