MASAMI
I live in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture. Ever since I was a child, I’ve loved catching and raising insects. After being bitten by a monkey in elementary school, I’ve never been comfortable around dogs or cats. In 2021, I discovered texture art and felt it was meant to be. Within the world of texture art, which is primarily abstract, I wanted to express the creatures I love. So, using my own unique technique that combines flowers and animals, I’ve created a series of animal-themed artworks. At the same time, I use ink and pens to depict tiny worlds on 5-cm-square mini canvases. I aim to create art that soothes the viewer’s heart. Currently, I create artworks ranging from 5 cm square mini-canvases to size 20. Orders can be placed via Instagram.
