AtelierMosst

Moss terrarium artist “Moss Musmus” and “mosspicturebook [Moss Picture Book]” have joined forces to establish “Atelier Mosst,” the Kansai branch of the Japan Moss Art Association (General Incorporated Association). Our mission is to share the delicate beauty and healing power of moss with as many people as possible through art and design. In addition to authentic moss terrariums made with live moss, Atelier Mosst offers maintenance-free moss artworks created using a special technique called “Moss-Chara,” which gives them a natural texture distinct from preserved moss. Through moss artworks that blend realism and artistry, we propose creating spaces that bring richness and tranquility to everyday life. As our first initiative as the Kansai Branch, we are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase the new charm and potential of moss art to everyone through our pop-up shop at Isetan Kyoto.
