Although I had been working as an oil painter, I was captivated by the diversity of design and decided to change careers. In search of a truly unique style, I turned to airbrushing. In 1979 (45 years ago), I created a reissue of “GOOD MEMORIES,” a product originally released by Kokuyo Co., Ltd. that had become popular in stationery stores and school supply departments at elementary, junior high, and high schools. In 1975, he studied at the Osaka Design College (Mode Gakuen). In 1980, he established Dress Original Works Co., Ltd. and worked on design projects for companies such as Kokuyo Co., Ltd., Asahi Glass Co., Ltd., and Wacoal Co., Ltd. In 1988, he became a part-time instructor at the Osaka Design College of Sōzōsha, a position he holds to this day.
