Do_goods
Based in Yamanashi Prefecture, “Do_goods” creates accessories inspired by traditional Japanese archaeological artifacts (such as Jomon-period clay figurines and Kofun-period haniwa). To date, we have released over 100 different designs. Valuing “the excitement of wearing history and culture,” we design and create unique, endearing accessories that gently complement the daily lives of adults. [Key Features] The beauty of “pure copper” that deepens with time: Do_goods pieces use “pure copper” as their main material. The patina that develops over time—transforming into a deep, rich hue—embodies the very “romance of history” found in clay figurines and haniwa unearthed from the ground. We offer the joy of watching your piece grow into a one-of-a-kind texture that becomes more attuned to your skin the more you wear it. Preserving Traditional Techniques on the Verge of Disappearance: In a jewelry industry increasingly dominated by digital (CAD) technology, Do_goods cherishes the art of hand-carving from wax prototypes. We take pride in our ability to realistically recreate the warmth, exquisite “softness,” and rich expressions found in clay figurines and haniwa—qualities that can only be achieved through handcrafted work.
