When drawing on paper, I don’t make a sketch—
I just let the pen move as it pleases.

The overall concept of the work
is there—if you look closely.
It’s a different world on “the other side,” one that doesn’t exist here.

While everyday life has its joys,
it’s also busy and full of stress.
At times like that, look at the inhabitants of my drawings
and imagine the scenes, daily life, and favorite things of “the other side.”
