Ashley Rodriguez Reed is an artist, designer, and educator currently based in Japan. She holds a BFA in printmaking from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and an MFA in Fiber and Material Studies from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia. Ashley’s work, exhibited nationally and internationally, explores themes of wonder, connection, and transformation. Using upcycled materials, she creates immersive dreamscapes that intertwine nature, personal experiences, and cultural narratives, celebrating the diversity of life. In addition to her artistic practice, Ashley has taught at institutions such as Tyler School of Art, The Kaneko, and Temple University Tokyo.

現在日本を拠点に活動するアーティスト、デザイナー、そして教育活動にも携わるアシュリー・ロドリゲス・リード。ネブラスカ大学オマハ校で版画の学士号（BFA）を取得し、フィラデルフィアのタイラー・スクール・オブ・アートで修士号（MFA）を取得。国内外で展示される作品は、驚き、つながり、変容というテーマを探求している。リサイクル素材を使用し、自然、各々の経験、文化や物語を織り交ぜた夢のような没入感のあるアートを創造し、多様性を称えている。創造活動に加えて、タイラー・スクール・オブ・アートやカネコ・アートセンター、テンプル大学ジャパンなどの教育機関で教鞭を執っている。
