Traces of That Child's Dream

This piece was inspired by Millet’s “Ophelia.” I created it with the hope that her unfulfilled love in *Hamlet* might, if only in the universe, finally be fulfilled. I selected these motifs—such as a blanket of shooting stars, a Milky Way bed pillow, a Neptune-themed bed with an aurora canopy, a garland of planets, and flowers and plants surrounding her as if watching over her—while imagining what it would feel like to have a pleasant dream in space.
