Things I Like

I first discovered Gansai Tanbi through a giveaway event.

The colors are simply beautiful,
and I was so excited to see how I could create all sorts of expressions
by combining them with different types of paper.

For this piece,
I aimed for a print-like finish.

The motif depicts
a girl who’s resolved
to carry the things she loves and keep moving forward, no matter where she goes.

While working on this piece,
I bought additional sets of Gansai Tanbi’s “Four Seasons” series.
