Don’t you get a little excited when you see zebras at the zoo or somewhere like that? They might look calm, but zebras are actually pretty playful. When I saw a photo of zebras nuzzling each other and frolicking, I was captivated by this side of them I’d never seen before, so I adapted the image to create a heart shape using their bodies. We humans make heart shapes with our bodies, too, don’t we?
I created these message cards using printmaking techniques that complement the black-and-white color scheme. Since each one is hand-printed, there are slight variations if you look closely, making each postcard a one-of-a-kind piece. Why not write a message on this card and send it to someone you want to share your feelings with?
