Dreaming of Colors

This design features an eraser stamp carved using a single large cutter.
The dot pattern used for the background and the zebra design come together to express a world made up of “circles and lines.”
The message conveys a spirit of diversity, where people accept one another without being constrained by appearances, perceptions, or categories.
The background, filled with dots of varying sizes, also embodies the hope that we can all support one another to fill in the gaps that a single person cannot.
Additionally, this piece accidentally produced a phenomenon where the colors perceived by the eye change depending on the viewing angle.
Even if the fading or color intensity differs from what was intended, I believe I was able to express the creator’s state of mind—unique to eraser stamp art—of accepting such variations as a source of beauty and wonder.
