I painted a mother horse and her foal alongside clover.
The language of flowers for clover includes many positive and uplifting words such as “love,” “hope,” and “good luck.” I combined these with the image of “leaping forward”—symbolic of the Year of the Horse—and expressed the scene in gentle, dreamlike colors.
