I painted this with the image of the White Fox—whose true form is usually hidden—appearing to gently watch over the scene, capturing the excitement of discovering Kyoto’s unique charm and the joy of interacting with stationery. I used a variety of art materials, primarily transparent watercolors.
Another highlight is that I’ve incorporated famous Kyoto elements—such as matcha, the Great Crested Grebe, and riverbank pinks—into various parts of the painting.
