A Bountiful Autumn Under the High Sky

The bountiful harvest of Japanese autumn, a gift from heaven and earth. Although a wide variety of agricultural and marine products are available year-round in modern times, autumn—when the landscape turns vibrant with color and festivals are held across the country—reminds us that we, too, are part of nature. Wishing to express these abundant gifts of the land using warm, traditional Japanese paper, I attempted to create some paper cutouts.
