The base is a canvas boat painted with acrylic paint. I’ve layered washi paper over it and applied more acrylic paint to create a three-dimensional effect.
On top of that, I’ve written a haiku of my own composition in calligraphy.
Like basho cloth,
the lion’s
swaying mane
This is a mixed-media artwork that combines Japanese-style calligraphy with various materials such as acrylic paint, washi paper, and yarn.
