Faded（消失）

Now that we can search the internet for any information we want,
we can see places we’ve never been to as if we were actually there,
We can now follow our favorite celebrities’ updates on social media,
and whether necessary or not, we’re inundated with information from influencers.
We’ve come to buy things online rather than in stores,
finding joy in things that are visually pleasing and feeling as though we understand everything through simple, easy-to-understand language.
Behind all this,
the individual has come to be valued more than society,
the gap between the rich and the poor has widened,
and wars have broken out…

In such a world,
thoughtfulness, compassion, love, and virtue have gradually disappeared,
and when humanity itself finally vanishes,
a division will occur that is beyond repair.
This work is a text-based piece
that expresses this reality across multiple layers.
