A pink rabbit—the kind that, if it were real somewhere in the world, everyone would surely want to see at least once.
I depicted the mutual sense of excitement and that magical, mysterious atmosphere you’d feel if you happened to encounter such a rabbit.
I applied layers upon layers of watercolor pencils, each layer applied very lightly, to convey a fluffy texture.
Conversely, I expressed the rabbit’s individuality and will through the realism of its eyes and the vividness of its colors.

1999: Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Faculty of Art,
Department of Fine Arts, Major in Japanese Painting.
I have been creating Japanese paintings ever since.
In 2022, I began creating ceramic accessories, paintings, and illustrations featuring rabbits as motifs, and continue to do so today.
