When I Set Out on a Journey

After watching the Noh play *Hagoromo*,
I visited Mount Kaguyama,
which reminded me of Nayotake and Princess Kaguya, so I decided to draw them.
I’ve depicted a slightly fantastical world, as well as the small shrine I found on Mount Kaguyama.
I’ve heard that the story of Princess Kaguya is essentially a message to “cherish the happiness we have right now.”
Perhaps happiness is closer at hand than we realize.
