かみのまさひこ
I’m an illustrator based in Osaka. I love exploring the city on foot. I also enjoy water walking. As you probably know, Osaka City’s public pools offer monthly passes. With this pass, you can access public pools in any ward. For example, if you purchase a pass in Higashinari Ward, you can use it to swim at public pools in Higashinari Ward, as well as at public pools in Yodogawa Ward, Miyakojima Ward, and other wards. As a side note, each public pool has its own unique character. My current favorite is the public pool in Shimanouchi, Chuo Ward, Osaka City. It’s a standard 25-meter indoor pool, but the area around the building changes day by day. In particular, starting in the evening, this area turns into a “Chinese Food District.” There are many tourists from overseas, searching for their favorite restaurants with their smartphones in hand. Even for me on my way home from the pool, it’s a trendy spot that’s full of excitement.
