The Black Cat and the Wisteria

This is a design I came up with because I wanted to make a cat-patterned obi.
I had been thinking of combining flowers and cats.
That’s when I remembered how my cats used to stare longingly at the swaying wisteria clusters in the neighbor’s yard, clearly dying to play with them.
You can change the color of the cat parts to make it “customized for your own cat.”

For now, I dyed a tote bag with the pattern to get a feel for the overall look.
Since the pattern is large, I made it in a market bag size that can handle plenty of shopping.
I also dyed the handles to match the pattern and color.
